DFA is sponsoring (via Elizabeth Atly) a special film presentation, SALUD, on SUNDAY, APRIL 27TH AT 7:00 pm at the South Beach Community Center. SALUD is a film that portrays Cuba's efforts to send doctors to under-served third world countries, as well as to medical schools they have established in some countries. The Latin American School of Medicine in Havana trains youths from all countries (including the US) to serve poor communities. This is truly an inspiring and uplifting film you won't want to miss! A panel discussion following the film will feature JUANITA RODRIQUEZ AND MIKE BEILSTEIN, both veteran travelers to Cuba. Juanita has experience traveling to Cuba with the PASTORS FOR PEACE CARAVAN and will share this information with you. Think about seeing Cuba for yourself!!
